I have a friend who doesn't like tomatoes so you can imagine the dilemma we have on Mexican Food night. Her chips are salsa-less. Well, we got a little creative and found this recipe for Kiwi Salsa. Lucky for us, the main ingredient in the recipe is on sale this week at Market Street.

Kiwi Salsa Ingredients

6 kiwis, peeled and diced (on sale 7/$1)
1 small onion, diced ($0.99/lb)
1 jalapeno pepper, diced
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon curry powder


Mix kiwi, onion, jalapeno pepper, lime juice, olive oil, honey, cumin, and curry powder together in bowl. Cover and allow to rest for 1 hour at room temperature. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
