Saving Pennies and Pounds (Aug 11) - Honey Mustard Turkey Burgers

It's hot outside! Are we really going to hit the 12th straight day of 100+ temperatures?! On top of that, your kids are getting ready to go back to school. After a long day of school supply shopping in the heat, who wants to figure out what's for dinner? This week I've got a recipe from our Family Meals for 4 archives. The best part is the main ingredients are on sale this week at Market Street!




Honey Mustard Turkey Burgers with Grilled Pineapple

Ingredients:
2 Tbsp Food Club honey
2 Tbsp Food Club Dijon mustard
1 Tbsp fresh mint, finely chopped
1/8 tsp Salt
1/8 tsp Pepper
1 ¼ lbs. fresh, lean ground turkey (Honeysuckle White Turkey Patties 6 ct for $2.50)
1 Tbsp canola oil
4 slices fresh pineapple (Chiquita Gold Pineapple $2.50)
4 Sarah Lee Heart Whole Wheat Hamburger Buns, split
1 cup of favorite dark green leaf lettuce ($0.99/bunch)
