What you DON'T eat could hurt you!

We know we should limit calories, salt, sugar, alcohol, etc., but what about the foods we aren't eating? Could those missing foods be hurting us?

The Center for Science in the Public Interest publishes the largest circulating health and nutrition newsletter in America, Nutrition Action Healthletter. The September issue cover story identifies 4 nutrients Americans aren't getting enough of and that could potentially improve our health. The catch? As we learn more about nutrition we are discovering that nutrients from food actually may help us better than popping supplements.
