What's New: Edamame

So it's probably something you've seen and maybe eaten before but I (Jennifer) thought I would highlight frozen edamame as a great source of lean protein that is good hot or cold and can be used as a meat alternative for lunch or dinner or a quick healthy snack mid afternoon.

Try adding cooled cooked beans (out of the pod) to a salad or for a warm version--- try them in a soup along with other veggies and orzo.

As a snack --- steam in the microwave sprinkle with a few pinches of kosher salt.

Low carb, low fat, cholesterol free, good source of plant-protein and NuVal score of 82!
