Dietitian's Top Pick: Crunchies Freeze Dried Tropical Fruit

If you have previously sworn off dried fruit in the past because of how few you get for the calories, the effect on your blood sugar or the lack of crunch, then you've got to revisit the dried fruit aisle and try Crunchies Freeze Dried Fruit. My (Alicia's) favorite part is that the ingredients are literally just fruit. My second favorite part is that I love crunch. Most fruits aren't that crunchy but Crunchies gives me that light, airy, crunchy texture I crave. One-fourth cup only has 30 calories so I could literally eat an entire bag for only 150 calories! Of course nothing beats fresh Texas fruit in the summer but as the summer and hot days wind down, Crunchies make a great option.

Look for Crunchies in a variety of flavors on the canned/dried fruit aisle. Look for the tropical flavor (and our Dietitian's Top Pick sign) to get the NuVal score of 91!
