What's New: Banana Sushi

Who doesn’t love bananas and peanut butter? Banana sushi is a great way to combine these two fan favorites to make a healthy, quick snack for your kids or guests! These snacks are a great way to provide valuable vitamins and minerals, a healthy fat, and fiber in a simple, tasty snack! Banana Sushi Treats
2 bananas, peeled
¼ cup peanut butter (can also try almond butter or sunflower butter)
2 tortillas (preferably whole grain or whole wheat)
½ cup pretzel sticks

  1. Lay out tortillas. Soften between paper towels in the microwave for a few seconds, if necessary.
  2. Divide peanut butter in half and spread half on each tortilla.
  3. Place banana near edge of the tortilla and wrap tortilla around the banana.
  4. Cut into ½ inch rounds.
  5. Poke pretzel sticks into flat side of the rounds to make them easy to serve.

Nutrition per serving (makes 4 servings):
240 calories, 10g total fat, 0mg cholesterol, 390mg sodium, 35g carbohydrate (5g dietary fiber, 8g sugar), 7g protein
