Tuesday Trade Up: Newman's Own Pasta Sauce

According to a survey by the National Pasta Association, 77% of Americans surveyed eat pasta at least once a week, and 1/3 eat pasta 3 or more times a week. That's at least 52 times a year that you can choose a better for you pasta sauce. There are numerous pasta sauce options but today we show the comparison between a white pasta sauce and a red pasta sauce.

Take note that the alfredo sauce nutrition is for half the serving size of a marinara. This is not to say that you can't ever have alfredo sauce. When you do indulge, include more vegetables like broccoli, spinach or mushrooms. It's all about making better and balanced choices.
