Blueberry Protein Popsicles

 
 
 

A few weeks ago we made Strawberry Basil Balsamic Popsicles because of my unquenchable need for popsicles this hot summer. As we approach the end of summer I had to make one more set of popsicles. This week, we continue the search for unique popsicle recipes, with Blueberry Protein Popsicles. The beauty of this popsicle recipe is that it provides a little bit of protein from the Greek yogurt.
 
Blueberry Protein Popsicles
 
Ingredients:
8 oz (half a bottle) Bolthouse Farms Blue Goodness - A Dietitian's Top Pick!!
1/2 cup Fage Total 0% Greek Yogurt - also a Dietitian's Top Pick
 
Directions:

Ingredients: Bolthouse Farms Blue Goodness Juice and Fage Total 0% Greek Yogurt



Step 1: Pour 8 oz of Bolthouse Juice evenly into 4 popsicle molds until about 2/3 full.
 
 
 
Step 2: Add enough yogurt to fill the molds to the top, roughly 2 tablespoons per popsicle.


Mmmm... doesn't that Greek yogurt look so creamy!




Step 3: Use a knife or skewer to swirl the yogurt around in the juice.
Insert the popsicle sticks and freeze for 8 hours.




Step 4: After the popsicles have frozen for 8 hours, let them sit on the counter for a minute
or two so they slide out of the mold easily. Mmmm... enjoy!
