"O" What a Delicious Mango Salsa

Many people often seek out organic products or products made with natural ingredients. At our Market Street stores, you'll begin to see our new line of organic and natural products called "O Organics" and "Open Nature". We'll have these available in almost every aisle!

A perk of being a dietitian for Market Street is getting to try new foods before they hit our shelves. We had so much fun trying the "O Organics" and "Open Nature" products that we decided to combine some of them with our Market Street Mango Salad for an easy Mango Black Bean Salsa.

This recipe literally takes 5 minutes and it's the perfect addition to a summer party! Just another way we are helping you Build a Better Basket at Market Street!

Here's what you will need for the Mango Black Bean Salsa: black beans,
canned tomatoes, olive oil, limes, ready made mango salsa
(included chopped mangoes, onions, cilantro, red pepper,
and jalapenos), cumin,  and pita chips.


Combine black beans, tomatoes, mango salsa, and cumin in a large bowl.

 In a small bowl, combine lime juice and olive oil. 

 
Drizzle the lime mixture over the bean mixture; stir together.


Serve with Pita Chips and enjoy!

Mango Black Bean Salsa
1 can (15 oz.) O Organics Black Beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (14.5 oz.) O Organics Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added, drained
1 small container Fresh Cut Mango Salsa
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 Tablespoon olive oil
2 Tablespoons lime juice (juice of 2 limes)
Pinch of salt (optional)
1 bag Open Nature Pita Chips with Sea Salt


1.   In a large bowl, combine black beans, tomatoes, mango salsa and cumin. Stir to combine; set aside.
2.  In a small bowl whisk together olive oil and lime juice;  slowly stir into bean mixture until well combined.  Add salt if desired.
3.  Serve with pita chips.  This also makes a great topping for grilled chicken!
